Our new Verdes Castros Garnacha, made in Terriña Adegas e Viñedos of the D.O. Valdeorras, has obtained the silver medal in the last edition of the ”Cata Transfronteriza de Tintos 2020” in the category of Garnachas.
The grapes used to make this wine come from small, old vineyards where mechanisation is minimal, so they require meticulous manual care.
After a detailed selection of the clusters, they are cold macerated and fermented in tanks at a controlled temperature.
After bleeding and gentle pressing, the wine is obtained which, once the malolactic fermentation is complete, rests in the tank for a few months until it is bottled.
It is an honour for us to have this type of recognition for one of our latest references, which reflects the care and work behind its production.
We hope you enjoy it!
